On June 18, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration could not end the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program. Since 2012, DACA has enabled more than 800,000 young undocumented immigrants to obtain work permits and gain a temporary reprieve from deportation. The Evelyn and Walter Haas, Jr. Fund has been honored to stand in solidarity with young immigrants and their allies across the United States as they built a powerful and inspiring movement for change. Looking forward, the Fund and our partners are committed to continuing the work of ensuring that these young people and their families can find dignity, safety and justice in the United States.
