Change Starts Here
Often in the world of social movements and social justice organizing, there isn’t a whole lot of room for reflecting. The stakes are too high, the issues too big, and the time, never enough. The Center for Community Change, a longtime grantee of the Haas, Jr. Fund, recently began testing their organization to see if some of the same principles, strategies and tactics that work to transform organizations in other spheres could be applied to transform a social justice organization, such as CCC.
One key question they set about answering was, what happens when a nonprofit puts dedicated time and resources into investing in its people and itself?
This report sheds light on CCC’s journey to individual and organizational transformation, and offers some key takeaways and lessons learned to date. We encourage you to download and share it.
