The San Francisco Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund is a holiday tradition and a year-round campaign based on empathy and generosity. Since 1986, SoS has distributed over $100 million to Bay Area food banks and families in the form of emergency assistance for housing and basic necessities. Where does the support come from? Our community. Every year, open-hearted Bay Area residents donate to help support their neighbors in need.
